Boys Hoops: Another player to Taft

| | Comments (0) |

Taft of Woodland Hills picked up its fourth new player this week when sophomore Steven Jones transferred from Alemany of Mission Hills.

Jones was a part time starter for the Warriors last season and was going to be a huge part of the line-up this year.

"It is a big loss for us," Alemany coach Tray Meeks said. "We were looking forward to watching him grow but we wish him the best.

It is hard to say where Jones fits in at Taft as the Toreadors are loaded with Bryce Jones, De'Andre Daniels, Jordan Gathers, Brandon Perry, Sam Natt, Landon Drew, Pierson Williams, Spencer Dinwiddie and Khiry Williams.

One thing is for sure.

Coach Derrick Taylor has a full deck to play with as he tries and finds a way to beat nemesis Westchester of Los Angeles.
