Matt Rasmussen threw for two touchdowns and ran for another to lead the visiting Contenders (2-0) to the nonleague victory in a game that was stopped in the second quarter due to the 45-point mercy rule.
Rasmussen completed 3 of 4 passes for 106 yards, including a 40-yard touchdown pass to David Herman and a 62-yarder to Nick Wallin. Rasmussen rushed for 54 yards on three carries and scored on a 46-yard run for the first touchdown of the game.
Wallin also had big game. In addition to his touchdown catch, Wallin threw a 53-yard scoring pass to Michael Robles and rushed for a 30-yard score.
Daniel Llorens and Alex Buenviaje added rushing touchdowns for Faith Baptist.
