Rocky Moore threw three touchdown passes to lead the visiting Spartans (1-0) to the victory.
La Canada was playing its first game of the season as last week's opener was postponed by the Station Fire.
Don O'Donnell opened the scoring for La Canada with a 1-yard run early in the first quarter, set up by an 86-yard pass from Moore to Josh Hanson. Moore completed 10 of 16 passes for 284 yards.
Hanson caught a 90-yard touchdown pass from Moore in the third quarter. Hanson caught five passes for 218 yards and intercepted a pass by Moises Chavez late in the first half.
Daleet Sandhu led La Canada with 56 rushing yards and one touchdown on 18 carries. La Canada held Glendale (0-2) to 127 yards of offense.
Glendale's Chavez completed 8 of 16 attempts for 67 yards. Anthony Platero had 11 carries for 25 yards.
