HS FOOT: At Campbell Hall, here's the kicker

Russ Gordon, head football coach at Campbell Hall of North Hollywood, was booming 50-yard punts during pregame warmups Saturday before an opening 40-12 victory over visiting Antelope Valley - not a surprise once you learn Gordon, 34, is a former All-American punter at Antelope Valley College.

"Have I ever had a punter who can punt better than me? Never," Gordon said. "But about five years ago, they starting running a lot faster than me."
