HS FOOT: Canyon coping with injuries

Canyon running back/defensive back Tyler Miller suffered a concussion Friday at Highland of Palmdale and was air lifted to the hospital - forcing a 45-minute delay - but coach Chris Varner said it was for precautionary reasons and that Miller is OK. Miller is expected back soon.

Also injured Friday was receiver/defensive back Cole Fairbanks, who dislocated his shoulder. He should be out for two weeks.
