FIVE GAMES TO WATCH:

FRIDAY

CRESPI (1-0) at BIRMINGHAM (0-1), 7:30 p.m. - Birmingham needs to rise to the occasion or it could be long night against the high-powered Celts, who scored a 58-0 opening victory over Lancaster.

HART (0-1) vs. PALMDALE (0-0) at College of the Canyons, 7:30 p.m. - Will the real Hart please stand up? There is no way Hart can get away with finishing 5-6 again, but an 0-2 hole is possible because Palmdale will come to play.

VALENCIA (0-0) at THOUSAND OAKS (0-0), 7 p.m. - Foothill League-favorite Valencia has more returning talent, but Thousand Oaks QB Avondre Bollar could be a star in the making.

BURBANK (1-0) at CHAMINADE (0-0), 7:30 p.m. - After 10 years at Birmingham, coach Ed Croson has returned to Chaminade, and the Eagles are hoping the reunion gets off to a good start.

SATURDAY

NOTRE DAME (1-0) at MOORPARK (1-0), 7 p.m. - Notre Dame did it big in Texas, but Moorpark would love nothing more than an upset victory over the mighty Knights.
