HS FOOT: Paraclete puttin' on the hit

| | Comments (0) |

Paraclete's defense is like a Desert Storm. The defending Mid Valley Division champion Spirits from Lancaster are coming off a 16-14 victory over Knight, a much larger school from the Golden League, as Knight was limited to 87 yards, including just 23 yards on 16 carries for Christian Bush -- not bad considering Bush had rushed for nearly 1,700 yards in 10 games last year.

When Knight scored a TD, it marked the first offensive touchdown against the Spirits since the first round of the playoffs last year.

Paraclete (2-0), led by linebacker Todd Davis and PK Kyle Steffes, has allowed an average of 134 yards per game.
