HS FOOT: Verdict is in: Taft's Radley ineligible for four weeks

| | Comments (0) |

Talented but controversial linebacker Lucky Radley has been declared ineligible for the first four games at Taft of Woodland Hills -- his fourth stop in three years -- after transferring from Agoura last season.

According to Taft coach Matt Kerstetter, the reasoning by the City Section, which had declared Radley ineligible at Taft prior to his transfer to Agoura, is Radley should have been ineligible for four weeks last season at Agoura but was not.

The issue was whether Radley had been kicked out of Crespi during his sophomore year or had he left voluntarily. The City's finding was he left Crespi for disciplinary reasons.

"It doesn't make a lot of sense. We kind of got the short end of the stick," Kerstetter said.

Mean time, Taft plays at favored Notre Dame in Sherman Oaks tonight.

"I don't have a lot of time to worry about all this. I have to worry about the players I have right now," Kerstetter said.
