HS FOOT: Westlake's Ball likes football more than futbol

| | Comments (0) |

Alex Ball, a Westlake football sophomore who grew up in England, is developing into quite a kicker after recording seven touchbacks Friday in a 48-26 victory over Paso Robles.

"He said he wants to play American football, and he's doing a nice job," coach Jim Benkert said. "Those kickoffs did just make it to the end zone. They went all the way out of the end zone. They weren't even close. He has a great leg."
