HS HOOPS: Jackson a big-time junior recruit

| | Comments (0) |

Valencia's Lonnie Jackson, who averaged a school-record 23 points as a sophomore this past basketball season, is really blowing up and could develop into one of the nation's top recruits by the time he is a senior.

The 6-foot-3 guard already is ranked in the ESPN Top 150 and has an early scholarship offer from Arizona State.

"College coaches are calling, and our mail box is full every day," said Jackson's father, Lance. "We've been in conversations with just about every coach in the Pac-10 including UCLA. USC is interested. Kansas is interested. They're not all offering because he's a junior, but they're interested."
