Under Armour made official its selection of Oaks Christian of Westlake Village quarterback Nick Montana to its All-American football game in a press conference at the school Thursday.

Montana will join 84 other top players in the country as selected by ESPN and Scout, Inc. on January 2 at Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg, Florida.

The game is in its fourth year of existence and will be televised by ESPN at 8 a.m. PDT.

Montana was thrilled and humbled by the selection.

"It is a great opportunity to play against the best players in the country," Monatana said. "To play in the same game as Matt Barkely (USC), Julio Jones (Alabama) and A.J. Green (Georgia) did is an honor."

Before the all-star game come around, Montana has other business to attend to, namely helping Oaks Christian try to stay undefeated, capture its eighth consecutive division championship and hopefully be selcted for a state boel berth in the prestigious "Open Division".
