HS FOOT: Birmingham's Briggs upgraded to questionable tonight vs. ECR

| | Comments (0) |

Trajuan Briggs, a star running back for Birmingham who's been sidelined all season with a broken foot, has been upgraded to "questionable" for tonight's game at El Camino Real.

Briggs, who has committed to USC, rushed for 1,513 yards and 23 touchdowns last season. Birmingham (0-5) is winless without him this season. He had a cast removed last week.

Birmingham coach Jim Rose said Briggs has practiced lightly this week. The coach is hoping to use Briggs for a few plays if Briggs shows improvement during pregame warmups.
