HS FOOT: Poly on a roll

| | Comments (0) |

Poly of Sun Valley, coming off a 47-6 victory over North Hollywood, has scored 40 points or more in all but one game. The Parrots (7-1), averaging 51.7 points, have a good chance to win their final two games, beginning with a nonleague contest Friday at Bell (5-3), but what remains to be seen is if Poly can advance past the first round of the City playoffs - a feat that has not been accomplished since 1990 when Poly won the 3-A championship.

"Every year since that championship has been one-and-out," coach Scott Faer said.
