HS FOOT: San Fernando forced to forfeit two victories

| | Comments (0) |

San Fernando has forfeited two victories because of an ineligible player, so the Tigers are 1-5 instead of 3-3.

City spokesman John Aguirre said a San Fernando player was granted a hardship waiver, but not until Friday, so the Tigers' first two victories over Littlerock and Poly of Sun Valley have been overturned because the player in question participated.

San Fernando coach Tom Hernandez said it was "a paperwork mistake."

San Fernando defeated Kennedy 7-2 in a Valley Mission League game Friday.
