HS FOOT: Valencia wonders what to expect

| | Comments (0) |

Valencia has been put into a tough position this coming Saturday at 7 p.m. against Loyola of Los Angeles because Loyola's coach, Jeff Kearin, surprisingly resigned this past week, citing "family reasons."

Adam Guerra, a 24-year-old assistant, has taken over as interim coach, and Valencia does not know what to expect - Loyola could be totally fired up or in a depressed coma or somewhere in-between.

"That's the scary thing. Who knows what's going to happen?" Valencia coach Larry Muir said. "It's going to be kind of the great unknown out there. I guess we'll just have to see what happens."
