HS FOOT: Young talent helps Campbell Hall

| | Comments (0) |

Campbell Hall has not won a playoff game since 2005, but the Vikings could be onto something. The team is 5-1, 2-0 heading into today's 3:30 p.m. Alpha League game against visiting Brentwood (3-3, 2-1).

Leading rusher Bernard Dillard has played a key role, rushing for 707 yards and eight touchdowns, and most of his skill-positions teammates are underclassmen, so the future looks good. Among them are sophomore quarterback R.J. Gordon (831 yards passing, nine touchdowns), junior multi-purpose back Austin McBroom (251 yards rushing, 12 receptions for 281 yards, nine touchdowns) and junior receiver Louis Collins (12 receptions, two touchdowns).
