HS FOOT: Notre Dame, Fountain Valley readying for Pac-5 opener

| | Comments (0) |

There is a buzz in the air here in Sherman Oaks, as Notre Dame opens against visiting Fountain Valley in the Pac-5 Division playoffs.

The good news for Notre Dame is leading receiver Tyler Thomas is back after missing one game because of ankle injury. The Knights love to pass the football, so expect Thomas to be in the thick of things.

Fountain Valley's top player is running back Kyle Middlebrooks, and he is a blazer. He finished as the CIF State runner-up in the 100 meters last spring.
