HS FOOT: Valencia QB Bishop: "We've undergone a transformation"

| | Comments (0) |

After going undefeated during the regular season and winning by an average of more than 35 points, top-seeded Valencia got a real scare Friday in a 28-27 football victory over Thousand Oaks in a Northern first-round game.

"We've undergone a transformation. We've promised each other to work harder than we ever have," Valencia quarterback Alex Bishop said. "It's time to step up and make our goal a reality. Now that teams are getting narrowed down, every game is going to be a good one. That's why we love high school football."
