Boys Basketball: El Camino Real now 2-0

| | Comments (0) |

It was good thing Rosamond transfer Josh holden was cleared by City Section officials Monday.

Holden scored 30 points in a 67-52 victory against Westlake in the Simi Valley tournament on Tuesday and followed that performance with 21 points in a 63-48 quarterfinal win against Burroughs of Burbank on Wednesday.

El Camino Real will face Clovis East of Clovis in a semifinal on Friday at Simi Valley.

Coach David Rebibo has the Conquistadores playing well in the early going.

No word yet if Renaissance Academy of La Canada transfer Dushon Carter will suit up this season.

If Carter gets eligible, Holden continues to play well and the role players do their part, Taft of Woodland Hills might have a contender on its hands.

Stay tuned..............
