Eagle Invitational Wrestling Tournament

Quartz Hill won the Eagle Invitational at Lancaster High School. They had five
first place finishers with Hayden Zimmerman (103), Jared Ricker (at 112 pounds),
Johnathan Melendez (119), Zack Uribe (215), Anthony Chu (heavyweight) winning first
place in their weight classes.

Valencia finished in 2nd place while San Fernando went 3rd, Highland 4th, Lancaster
(red) 7th, Littlerock 9th, Knight 10th, Burroughs 11th and Palmdale 13th. Chase French of Valencia won the 125 weight class, while Tyler Burton of Highland defeated Miguel Gallegos of San Fernando in the 130 class and Robert Garcia won the 135. Trever Devestern won the 145 weight over Joey Crawford of Burroughs and Anthony Uribe of San Fernando won at 160. Austin Cline of Littlerock and Tyree Cox of Lancaster won at 171 and 189 respectively.

Look for a couple of Littlerock and San Fernando guys in the Wrestling Preview
