HS FOOT: Ex-Crespi standout still makes name for himself

| | Comments (0) |

Mark Watley, a former Crespi football standout who is a redshirt freshman defensive back at University of Arizona, says his old nickname "Snoop" has stuck with him in college - no big surprise considering Watley looks exactly like rap star Snoop Dogg in his younger days.

"It's funny. The coaches and players out here still call me 'Snoop' all the time," he said.

Watley, who plays mainly on special teams, is preparing for the Las Vegas Bowl on Tuesday between the Wildcats (8-4) and BYU (10-2).
