Baseball: Notre Dame recap from Friday

Notre Dame of Sherman Oaks (4-3) defeated Loyola at Notre Dame on Friday, 8-7.

The Knights earned a split, having lost 4-3 at Loyola on Tuesday.

Freshman LHP Jack Hartman pitched two innings in relief of RHP David Armendariz (who started and went 5 complete) and recorded the win.

Loyola starter Xavier Borde went 5.2 innings and took the loss.

For Notre Dame, Armendariz had 4 RBI including a 2 run homer (4th).

Milone, Muno, Dohs had doubles.

No extra base hits for Loyola.
