| | Comments (0) |

The Kilpatrick of Malibu boys' basketball team will not be playing at Pierce College in Woodland Hills tonight against Sierra Canyon of Chatsworth in a Div. V state playoff opener.

The Mustangs were deemed to have an ineligible player and were pulled out of the state tournament by CIF officials according to Sierra Canyon athletic director Rock Pillsbury.

Kilpatrick will also have to vacate the Southern Section Div. 6-A championship it won on Friday in a 65-41 victory against West Valley Christian of West Hills.

Kilpatrick asst. coach Shon Tarver said he has not been given many deatils on the situation but said in atext message the problem had nothing to do with players who contributed very much.
