HS HOOPS: Harvard-Westlake trails at halftime

Harvard-Westlake of Studio City faced a 12-point deficit against Bishop Montgomery of Torrance early in the second quarter Saturday, but rallied to cut the halftime deficit to 29-26 in the Southern Section Div. IV-AA girls' basketball championship game at The Pyramid in Long Beach.

Nicole Nesbit leads the Wolverines (29-1) with 10 points and Nicole Hung has six for Harvard-Westlake, which enters the final with a 25-game winning streak.

Kristen Ale leads Bishop Montgomery (26-6) with nine points.
