A layup at the buzzer by Kim Scamman has given Montclair Prep of Panorama City a 20-19 hafltime lead over St. Anthony of Long Beach in the Southern California Div. V girls' basketball regional finals Saturday at Colony High in Ontario.

Chantel Dooley, Jasmine Martinez and Scamman all have six points for Montclair Prep, which is trying to atone for a 57-47 to the Saints in the Southern Section Div. V-A championship game March 4. The Mounties trailed 26-15 at halftime in their last meeting with St. Anthony.

Montclair Prep (25-7) held a 14-7 lead following two Martinez free throws with 6:08 remaining in the second quarter. St. Anthony (25-9) rallied to take a 17-16 advantage with 2:14 left on a free throw by Taylor Hixon -- who leads the Saints with six points -- but Dooley and Scamman hit baskets down the stretch to help the Mounties regain the lead.
