| | Comments (0) |

A late run by St. Anthony of Long Beach has Montclair Prep of Panorama City trailing 35-30 after three quarters in the Southern California Div. V girls' basketball regional final Saturday at Colony High in Ontario.

The game was halted for nearly 10 minutes late in the quarter when Montclair Prep senior Chantel Dooley was knocked down by St. Anthony's Paris Lamar.

Dooley, who leads the Mounties with 12 points, was taken to the sidelines for medical attention after becoming sick following the fall.

St. Anthony, which defeated Montclair Prep 57-47 in the Southern Section Div. V-A final March 4, has begun to assert itself inside with Kendall Cooper (10 points, six rebounds) and Lamar (four points, nine rebounds). The Saints scored the final six points of the quarter.

Kim Scamman and Jasmine Martinez each have eight points for the Mounties.
