HS HOOPS: Taft and Mater dei are really filling it up (updated)

| | Comments (0) |

Wow, these are two really good teams going to head, as Taft leads 37-33 with just over one minute left int he second quarter, scoring just a moments ago on a smooth drive by Spencer Dinwiddie, followed by a one-hand Tomahawk jam by Bryce Jones to make it 37-33.

Taft's Pierson Williams has been in a scoring slump -- twice totaling just three points over the past three games -- but he's picking it up tonight with 15 points.

Mark Jackson just scored for Taft, and now it's 39-33 -- Taft's biggest lead.

The first half has ended, and Taft leads 39-35.
