Taft and Mater Dei are putting on a show, as there already have been a bunch of highlight plays through one quarter, as Taft leads 25-24 in a Socal Regional semifinal..

Taft came out firing with three consecutive 3-pointers, two by by Spencer Didwiddie, but Mater Dei was hot, too.

Through the first eight minutes, Taft hit five 3-pointers, and Mater Dei hit four.

Landon Drew's driving layup in the final seconds of the first quarter gave Taft a one-point lead.
