HS HOOPS: Taft, Mater Dei tied at 56 after three quarters

| | Comments (0) |

There is one period remaining in the Southern California Regional Div. I semifinal between Taft and host Mater Dei, and we're right back where we started from -- tied at 56, as both teams look terrific.

Who will blink in the key final minutes? That remains to be seen, but Mater Dei just scored two quick baskets to open the fourth quarter to forge a 60-56 lead.

Taft's Pierson Williams and De'Andre Daniels have both scored 15 points (Bryce Jones has only 7), and Mater Dei's Tyler Lamb has 18.
