HS BASE: All-Star game about to begin

The Southern Section and the City Section are about to square off in the fourth annual all-star game at Birmingham, as John Mata of San Pedro is the starting pitcher for the host City against Tyler Abbott of Royal.

It's a nine-inning game, and there should be a lots of action.

Austin Wilson of Harvard-Westlake of Studio City won the pregame home run contest.
