| | Comments (0) |

Pat Valaika of Hart singled in two runs to spark a three-run rally in the fifth inning, as the Southern Section has pulled ahead 3-1 over the City Section heading into the bottom of the fifth.

Mike Hubbard of Crespi added an RBI single.

The City scored in the first inning when Ronnie Galosic of San Pedro singled, advanced on an error and scored on San Pedro's Jakob Johnson's single.

Brando Tessar pitched two scoreless innings for the Southern Section, giving up one hit and striking out three. He stands to be the winning pitcher if the Southern Section's lead holds up.
