Girls' volleyball: The Mission League looks great

| | Comments (0) |

The Mission League has always been very good in girls' volleyball.

This year is no exception with Harvard-Westlake and Flintridge Sacred Heart as strong as ever.

However, the other schools are catching up for what figures to be a great October and early November of intense matches.

Chaminade features Rutgers-bound Alex Nyman, Louisville is quickly improving under the guidance of coach Sabine Stork and players Danna McDonald and Jasmine Burton and the biggest surprise of the young season could be Notre Dame.

Coach Kristin Gorman has the Knights off to a 10-1 start, including taking the championship at the Saugus tournament.

Emily Moss, Anne Marie Taylor, Erika Payton and Melanie Violas have been leading the way.
