HS FOOT: Fulton Prep will continue, coach says

| | Comments (0) |

After considering folding the football program because of competitive equity and participation issues, Fulton Prep canceled its game this past Friday at Santa Clara, but the season will go on, coach Sean Jackson said.

"We got a few more players, and we're going to tough it out and finish the schedule as planned," Jackson said.

Fulton Prep (0-2), playing 11-man football this season after graduating from eight-man, plays at Twin Pines (1-2) in Banning at 3:45 p.m. Friday. The home opener follows on Oct. 8 against Bright Star at Birmingham High.
