HS FOOT: Teams allowed special permission to practice Tuesday

The City Section canceled all football practices today for LAUSD schools because of the heat, but now officials have said teams can practice Tuesday -- an exception because it's staff-development day, which ordinarily means no practice.

"But it should be just as hot tomorrow," El Camino Real athletic director Vincent Orlando said.
