Boys' basketball: National Prep Classic set for Dec. 17-22

Tom Mott, who started the very successful Mission College Prep of San Luis Obispo tournament several years ago has another tournament starting up after leaving the school to go to St. Joseph of Santa Maria.

The National Prep Classic will take place Dec. 17-22 at St. Jospeh High and Hancock College.

Prestonwood Christian of Plano, Texas is entered. It is bringing highly-touted sophomore Julius Randle.
