HS FOOT: St. Francis on Mission

After two consecutive losses following a 3-0 start, St. Francis does not have much momentum heading into the Mission League opener Saturday against visiting Serra of Gardena - a must-win considering defending Northwest Division champion Serra is a substantial favorite to win the league title in its first year in the league.

"It's a perfect time to start over again. Everyone is 0-0," St. Francis offensive lineman Patrick Carroll said.
