Boys' basketball: It was a good night for former Taft players

Taft High has 10 former players in Div. I and the night before Thanksgiving was a solid night for four of them.

Calvin Haynes scored a career-high 27 points in a 13-point victory against Charlotte, 2009 Daily News Player of the Year Michael Williams poured in 17 points in San Francisco's loss at Montana St., 2010 Daily News Player of the Year Bryce Jones had 15 points in USC's 27-point victory against Fullerton and Garrett Green had eight points and nine rebounds in LSU's 42-point victory against Centenary.
