Boys' basketball: Brentwood makking noise early

| | Comments (0) |

One of the best small-schools leagues is the Olympic League this year.

Sierra Canyon has joined Campbell Hall, Windward, Montclair Prep, Pacific Hills and Brentwood.

Every game should be competitive.

Brentwood could make some noise with a host of talented young players.

Sophomore Leland King and freshman Tra Holder have had hot starts to the season.

Holder scored 25 points with eight assists and three steals in a 77-72 overtime victory against Mira Costa last week.

Holder made two free throws in the final seconds to send it into the extra period.

King had 28 points, 17 rebounds, five steals and three blocks.

King was recently added to the ESPN top 100 list of class of 2013 prospects, checking in at No. 88.
