Boys' basketball: Chaminade into Cantwell Sacred-Heart tournament semifinals

Freshman Jack Williams had 15 points and 13 rebounds to lead Chaminade in a 72-64 quarterfinal victory against Hawthorne at the Cantwell Sacred-Heart tournament late Thursday night.

Chaminade is now 6-1 under third year coach Todd Wolfson and will play Clovis West in a semifinal Friday.

Chatsworth and El Camino of Oceanside will meet in the other semifinal.

The winners will play for the championship Saturday.
