Boys' basketball: Eastside beats El Camino Real

Greg Polee had 16 points, Khalfani Williams had 13 and Randy Hairston added 10 to lead Eastside in a 62-52 victory against El Camino Real at the San Fernando Valley Invitational at Alemany.

Eastside (5-3) trailed 28-24 but quickly tied the game at 32-32 and sprinted away.

New Mexico St-commit Temjae Singleton had 25 points one night after registering 26 against Sierra Canyon to lead ECR (6-3).

In an earlier game, Granada Hills beat Saugus, 56-49.
