Boys' basketball: El Camino Real wins big, sets up big game Monday

El Camino Real beat Grant, 77-50, and Sierra Canyon handled Kennedy, 53-47, in regional semifinals of the San Fernando Valley Invitational.

ECR will play Sierra Canyon Monday at 7:30 p.m.

The winner will advance to the semifinals Tuesday at Alemany.

It should be a great game between two up and coming teams.

ECR features seniors Temjae Singleton (New Mexico St commit), J.T. Nemit, Anthony Jones and freshman Maleke Haynes, Julian Richardson and Evan Wardlow.

Sierra Canyon counters with juniors Julian Brooks and Jesse Howell, sophomore Jahmel Taylor and freshman Bryan Alberts and Marsalis Johnson.
