Montclair Prep won third place at the San Diego Holiday tournament hosted by San Diego High this week.

The Mounties (12-2) won their first two games before losing 62-60 against La Jolla Country Day in the semifinals.

Montclair Prep bounced back for a 58-52 victory against Hilltop of Chula Vista this morning.

The Mounties are off until a Jan. 5 game at Oaks Christian before starting what will be a very tough Delphic League schedule with the likes of Windward, Campbell Hall, Sierra Canyon, Brentwood and Pacific Hills.
