Boys' basketball: Notre Dame beats Crenshaw, Simi upsets Ventura

Notre Dame pulled off a mild upset in a 76-70 victory against Crenshaw in a semifinal game at the Burbank tournament.

Agoura beat Canyon in the other semifinal, 85-80, in overtime.

The two teams will meet for the championship tomm. at Burbank. Check back for game time.

Simi Valley pulled off a big win against Ventura, 57-30, in the semifinals of its own tournament.

Jesse Dinonno had 15 points, all on 3-pointers to lead the Pioneers. George Washington-bound forward Jonathan Davis had 13 points with 10 coming in the second half after battling foul trouble and only playing 19 minutes.

Simi Valley will play Valencia, a 66-64 winner against Clovis East.

Lonnie Jackson scored 22 points and the Vikings had to hold off a late rally after leading by 24 points in the third quarter.
