Boys' basketball: Notre Dame is 1-1 at Modesto Christian tournament

Notre Dame lost to Compton Centennial, 59-47, in a first round game at the Modesto Christian tournament on Monday.

Jonathan Bell had 19 points. Notre Dame dropped to 7-3.

The Knights came back for a win on Tuesday.

Notre Dame beat Galena of Reno, Nevada, 74-55.

Jonathan Bell scored 19 points and Kennedy Edwards added 15.

Notre Dame is now 8-3 with two more game in Modesto before starting Mission League play against Loyola on Jan. 3
