Boys' basketball: Providence guard scores 44 points

What a perfromance from Patrick Gonzalez at tiny Providence High in Burbank on Friday.

Gonzalez poured in 44 points to lead Providence in an 86-81 semifinal victory against St. Genevieve in the Providence tournament.

The point total is the highest this season for any area player and could stand up as the most all year.
