Here is a quick recap from the Burroughs tournament

Monroe 64
Culver City 42

Sophomore Ayisat Afolabi had 30 points in the victory for arguable the best City Section team in the San Fernando Valley.

Ani Avanessian added 11 points for Monroe.

Jade Neal had 24 points to lead Culver City.

Valencia 50
Glendale 30

Faith Anumba had 14 points and Lauren Spargo had 10 in the victory.

Stell Ghazarian led Glendale with 13 points.

Calabasas pulled off a mild upset in a 40-36 victory against El Camino Real.

Katie Noonan had 16 points, India Wilson had 11 points and 11 rebounds and Victoria Wei had eight points and 10 rebounds.

Shannon Kingery had 16 points and sophomore Cora Chan had 12 for El Camino Real.
