Girls' basketball: Canyon beats Harvard-Westlake

Canyon of Canyon Country took down Harvard-Westlake, 36-39, in a low scoring affair.

Canyon advances to the quarterfinals of the West Coast Holiday Festival hosted by Beverly Hills and Burroughs.

Alia McCoy had 13 points and Shorty Dent added nine for the Cowboys, who have only lost one game all season.

Harvard-Westlake was led by Skylar Tustsui's nine points.

Hilary King and Ester Lee each had six points for the Wolverines.
