HS FOOT: The morning after last night's epic Northern final

| | Comments (0) |

Hey, Westlake, don't feel too bad about last night's loss. The Oaks Christian Lions have been there themselves.

On Friday, Oaks Christian prevailed 29-28 on Richie Harrington's last-minute touchdown pass, followed by Blair Holliday's two-point conversion run.

A year ago, Oaks Christian lost 42-41 in overtime to Serra in the Western final.

By this morning, Harrington found some proper perspective.

"The same thing happened to us last year, so I guess it's come full circle," Harrington said. "It felt like the clock was going to run out on us. It's unbelievable. I never would have guessed in a million years that I would have had this opportunity."
