Boys' basketball: Alemany takes down Crespi

It has finally happened.

Alemany beat Crespi.

80-57.

It is the first time Alemany has beaten Crespi in 11 attempts.

Four underclassmen led the way.

Junior Max Guercy had 21 points and six assists, junior Jerico Richardson had 14 points and three steals, junior Marqueze Coleman had eight points and 15 rebounds and freshman Rahzaun "Bear" Henderson had 19 points and 10 rebounds.

Matt Mounier came back to his normal output with 20 points after a five-point effort against Harvard-Westlake on Monday, to lead Crespi.

Reggie Coates had 16 points for the Celts, who have lost two in a row after winning 12 consecutive games.

Alemany improved to 12-5, 3-1.

Crespi is 14-5, 2-2.
