Boys' basketball: Valley Torah and Rio Hondo Prep all tied up at halftime in Div. VI-AA semifinal

Top-seeded Valley Torah is having trouble in its Div. VI-AA semifinal against Rio Hondo Prep at Arroyo High in El Monte.

The score is 26-26 at halftime.

Aaron Liberman, a 6-foot-8 forward only has five points and the Wolfpack is having trouble getting him the ball down low.

Sophomore Ryan Wiley has eight points to lead Rio Hondo Prep.

Christian Torrico and Dave Drain have each made two 3-pointers.

Valley Torah came in with a record of 20-4 and the Kares are 10-15. Rio Hondo Prep also went winless in eight games in the Prep League.
